1st – 15th November, 2007 Production of the Adamawa State Review Report, APRM Implementation Document, Influencing the APRM, APRM handbook.

25th – 30th November, 2007 Production of Executive Summary of events on the Country Self-Assessment Review Report and subsequent forwarding to His Excellency.
1st – 10th December, 2007 Visit to the Abuja NEPAD / APRM Head Office.
11th – 13th December, 2007 Visit to the NEPAD / APRM Headquarters for the Country Self-Assessment Review Validation Exercise, where the State was rated as number one in preparedness for the accession to the APRM.
 
14th – 23rd December, 2007 Perfection of APRM documents and preparation for what should be done in January, 2008

2nd – 8th January, 2008 Preparation of Budget and Work plan for 2008
9th January, 2008 Briefings with the members of the Government House Press Crew on APRM and its objectives, aimed at achieving Good Governance in the State and their role as the mouth piece of the people.
 
11th January, 2008 Briefing an enlarged press at the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Press Centre with correspondents of the major newspapers in the Country and the local television and radio stations in the State. The objective of the meeting was to create awareness on APRM in the State and the nation.
 
13th January, 2008 Granted an interview with the ATV on Political and Democratic Governance as part of the awareness process on APRM.
 
  • Meeting with the APRM Media Team on how to strategize and strengthen the campaign plans and tempo on reaching out to the public on the activities of the APRM. The main objectives was to guide the media on how to give a critical view of every activity with the aim of putting in the best.
15th January, 2008 Briefing with the media team on how best the APRM Secretariat could utilize our local press and radio stations first by identifying the problems of the stations, proffering solutions and ways forward for the progress of the State.
 
17th January, 2008 The Coordinator granted an interview on Political and Democratic Governance and its benefits to the society with the aim of creating more awareness on APRM. This was in Hausa in order in order to meet the needs of the Hausa speaking part of the society.

The Hausa version of Guest of the week “Bakon Mu Na Mako”, which was featured on ATV at 8:00pm on Monday, 21 Jan. 2008

 
19th January, 2008 The Coordinator and his Assistant featured on a live discussion programme on ATV programme tagged, ‘Talking Point’ at 8:20 - 8:55pm.

The discussions were generally on APRM as it relates to the Continent – Africa, Nigeria and its benefits to Adamawa State and its neighbours.

 
23rd – January, 2008 The Secretariat met with the media team on the level of preparedness on the sensitization of the 6 Governors of the North-East – Geo-political zone on their level of preparedness to host the international members of the Country Review Mission in their States.
